Subaru of Keene - Helping Feed Our Community - Peggy H
The Community Kitchen Strives to Provide Nutritious Meals and Groceries; To Educate and Empower Our Guests, Community And Partners; And To Be A Leading Advocate To Strengthen Food Security In The Monadnock Region. Thanks to the leadership of Subaru of Keene and the Fenton Family Dealerships, 2,300 pounds of food and over $16,000 was collected at this year’s Fenton Family Food Drive. This event, held in cooperation with the Monadnock Radio Group, Hannaford, Market Basket, the Monadnock Food Co-op and our wonderful community members, confirms the generosity and support we see each day. During our Thanksgiving distribution, nearly 600 families received all the ingredients to prepare a delicious holiday meal, in addition to our regularly offered items. The collection of both food and money from the Fenton Family Food Drive was invaluable to us and those we serve. We are extremely grateful to Subaru of Keene and the Fenton Family Dealerships for their generosity and commitment in serving the community and for all they do for The Community Kitchen.
Subaru of Keene Helps Spread Love for the LGBTQ+ Community in The Monadnock Region - Katie F
The mission of Keene Pride is to promote the visibility of LGBTQ+ people in the Monadnock Region, create community-building programming, and develop a coalition of services, organizations and businesses that embrace and serve the LGBTQ+ population. Subaru of Keene is one of those local businesses. Keene Pride hosts many events throughout the year, including educational, social, and support groups and events. Because of generosity from Subaru of Keene we are able to keep many of these events free or low cost so they are accessible to everyone. Making Cancer Patients' Lives Easier - Katherine R
Cheshire Medical Center is essential to the heartbeat of the Monadnock Region by caring for residents through all stages of life regardless of their ability to pay. Through the incredible generosity of Subaru of Keene, our patients are able to continue receiving state of the art care in our Cancer Center here in Keene, close to home. Without this support, every year hundreds of cancer patients would have to travel over an hour daily for 4 – 6 weeks to receive essential radiation therapy. The hardship of having to travel a long distance while ill and battling cancer cannot be understated. We are beyond grateful for the generosity of Subaru of Keene for their donation to help increase the size of our Cancer Center so we can house an additional linear accelerator to meet the growing need for our cancer patients.
Subaru Loves Pets at Monadnock Humane Society! - Kimberly M
MHS is deeply grateful to Subaru of Keene for their ongoing partnership through the Subaru Loves Pets initiative. Every October, this collaboration makes a profound difference for the animals in our care, and this year was no exception. Thanks to Subaru of Keene’s generosity and support, 136 pets found their forever homes during the month of October! We continue to see a growing number of animals entering our shelter, and the support from Subaru of Keene helps us meet the needs of every animal that comes through our doors with compassion and hope. We are so thankful to the entire Subaru of Keene team for their commitment to helping animals in need and for being such valued partners in our mission. We’re proud to be part of a community that cares so deeply and look forward to continuing this meaningful partnership for years to come.
Rise for baby and family – supporting young children and their families - Pat P
Rise for baby and family in Keene offers early intervention services for babies and toddlers all around NH’s Monadnock Region, as well as and inclusive child care in Keene. Subaru of Keene is a generous local partner, helping Rise ensure young children with developmental delays and disabilities can get the services they need to grow and thrive. Subaru of Keene supports Rise’s ongoing work and also sponsors Toddlerfest, an annual free, fun event for children and families. This year, even with heavy rain that forced us to move inside for part of the event, we still had a great turnout and lots of fun! Thanks to Subaru of Keene’s loyal support, we at Rise can keep our promise to children and families, providing the services they need – and a wonderful event that has become a local tradition!

For the past 10 years, Subaru of America and its retailers have partnered with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) through the Subaru Loves to Care initiative. The partnership has involved delivering blankets, patient care kits, and messages of hope to cancer patients across the country. On June 24th, Subaru of Keene personally delivered these items to Dartmouth Cancer Center at Cheshire Medical Center. These blankets, patient care kits, and messages of hope provide warmth and comfort to patients in treatment. The love and support shared through this cherished partnership means a lot to everyone involved! Thank you for your commitment to supporting your community as well as the LLS mission to create a world without blood cancer and improve the quality of life for patients and their families.
Subaru of Keene Teams Up to Support Local Community - Nate R
Imagine going without a coat, shoes, or even socks. For millions of children and adults experiencing homelessness and other urgent need situations across the country, even here in Keene, this is a harsh reality. Helping others strengthens communities, which is why Subaru of Keene is partnering with Operation Warm®, a national nonprofit focused on connecting children with the resources they need to thrive. Through this partnership and other Subaru Loves to Help® efforts, Subaru and retailers like Subaru of Keene have helped nearly 900,000 children and adults in urgent need. On 01/17/2025, Subaru of Keene donated 120 coats to Keene Housing Kids Collaborative. These essential items not only help keep children protected, warm, and dry, it can have a significant impact on a child's mental and emotional well-being.
Fenton Family Food Drive - Peggy H
The Annual Fenton Family Food drive was held this year on Saturday, November 23rd. Subaru of Keene, the Fenton Family Dealerships, and members of the Monadnock Broadcasting Group collected food and monetary donations at Hannaford, Market Basket and the Monadnock Food Coop for The Community Kitchen’s Food Pantry Program. This was the 13th annual Food Drive and by far our most successful, with 3800 pounds of food and over $17,000 collected! The Community Kitchen served 545 families at our Thanksgiving Pantry distribution, and our weekly Pantry numbers continue to rise. The proceeds from this event help us to provide our guests with holiday food items, as well as regular Pantry items. We are extremely grateful to Subaru of Keene, the Fenton Family Dealerships, participating grocery stores, and our community, for this donation!
Subaru of Keene supports Greater Keene Women's Softball Assoc. - Cori F
Subaru of Keene has supported the Greater Keene Women's Softball Association for a few years. Every year the softball association puts together a cornhole tournament in which Subaru of Keene has generously donated to the organization as well as donated to the raffle prizes. We can't thank Subaru of Keene enough for their continued support to the women's softball association.

MHS looks forward to partnering with Subaru of Keene for Subaru Loves Pets every year! For the month of October, we saw an increase in adoptions because of our Subaru Loves Pets promotions that reduced our adoption fees. We are so grateful to the entire team at Subaru of Keene for their generosity and for making this possible. We feel fortunate to be a part of this community and look forward to our continued partnership next year!
