Bill Fenton

Bill Fenton opened Toyota/Volvo of Keene in 1986. In 1991, Honda was added to the family, along with Hyundai in 2001 and Subaru in 2006. Bill currently lives in Keene with his wife JoAnn, and his two children, Kaitlin, and Donovan and their dog Mia. Bill spends his free time skiing, mountain biking, and automobile racing.

George Thompson
Operations Director

George started with Fenton Family Dealerships in 2007 and helped start our Customer Care Center in 2011.  He now assists with in day to day operations of our stores.  He is passionate about cars and the automobile business.  George loves learning ways we can grow as a local business and make changes to offer our customers a better, world class experience.  Stop in to any of our stores, and you just might run into him!

George lives in Keene with his wife Molly and son Henry.  They enjoy everything the Monadnock region has to offer and are proud to call Keene, NH home!

What do you like to do outside of work? "I live in Keene NH and enjoy antiquing, the movies and going to Foxwoods. I have a great love of animals, both domestic and wild, and strongly support the Humane Society. I also contribute to the fight to protect and find shelter for abused animals."

What led you to the automobile business, and how long have you been in it?
 "I have been in the business for six years. My father knew his way around cars and taught me the mechanics of the automobile at an early age. My mother was a very good saleswoman who had great success in all her endeavors. From the both of them I learned that knowledge of the product you are selling, and respect, were the keys to being great."

What is your most memorable customer experience?
"A customer I have known for five years was driving a 2004 Forester that was falling apart. Twice a week she drove her husband, who is a cancer patient, to his appointment. She was finally told the Forester would not pass inspection next time. I sat down with her, reviewed her budget, and searched for the right car for her. Two months later, we had a 2015 Forester that fit the bill. After many phone calls and emails, she eventually agreed to buy the 2015. This was her first car purchase since 2004, and today she is one of my happiest customers."

With the fast pace of business in our stores, how does Subaru of Keene maintain focus on customer satisfaction?
"Subaru of Keene has won the Love Promise Customer Commitment Award for the past six years, which says a lot for us. Gary, Craig, Derek and Adam work together to make sure we are all updated with any changes. Bill Fenton promotes a great family atmosphere and plays a big role in helping the community. Subaru of Keene is a very satisfying place to work for me."

My name is Mike,
I grew up in Marblehead, MA and have been in sales for over 17 years. Of the last 5 years, I've lived on rutted dirt roads and can attest to the need for an all-wheel drive vehicle. Whether I'm going to a great fly fishing hole or am 3 miles deep in the woods searching for the perfect camping spot, the great outdoors is where I can be found when I'm not at Subaru of Keene.  Since the outdoor lifestyle is a big part of my life, having a reliable all-wheel drive vehicle is a must for me as well as many of my customers and is one of the main reasons I've chosen to represent Subaru!
I am also very passionate about animals and enjoy taking my dogs, Moxie & Deanna with me on my adventures. It's not uncommon to see me walking them by the river and catching shots of the perfect sunset. Penny started at Subaru of  Keene in March of 2010. She was born in Keene and has been living in the area ever since. She attended Keene State College and bought her first Subaru in the early eighties. She loves to stay active with her children, hiking, golfing - you can usually find her outside. Rob has been in the automotive industry since 2011, working his way up from an Internet Sales/Salesperson position, to marketing/business development and public relations director for a five store automotive group. He also spent many years traveling with consulting with hundreds of different dealerships in process training. His career is driven by the passion for creating excitement, entertainment, and ease in what is most likely the third or second most expensive purchase in his customers' lives.


Rob is driven by his love for his 8 year old son Matthew, his family, and his faith. He came to the Fenton Family Dealerships for many reasons, one of the most important being our commitment to the community. Rob is dedicated to volunteer work, having served in missions from South Africa to New York to Venice Beach to Mexico to right here in our own backyard. He plans to utilize his skills to help build on our sales and service process, along with giving back to the community.

Cathy Gannoe started working in the Customer Care Center when she moved back to Keene in 2011 after living in Myrtle Beach, SC for a few years.  She enjoys having the ability to speak and interact with customers and being able to help find them exactly the right new vehicle they will love by being able to work for all of the Fenton Family Dealerships.  When she's not at work she enjoys spending her time with friends and family, riding her downhill mountain bike, adding to her record collection and going to concerts.

Scott began working in the Fenton Family Dealerships Internet department in 2009.  He enjoys working with the Fenton Family Dealerships because "it truly is a unique dealership setting with such a strong emphasis on customer service".

When Scott isn't at work you can usually find him at the golf course in the summer or at the Ice Arena in the winter. He enjoys staying active and enjoying the outdoors.

Karyna joined the web team in June of 2014. She graduated from Keene State College in 2015 with a Bachelors in Business Management. Karyna enjoys assisting with web content creation, employee volunteer projects, social media marketing and reputation management here at Fenton Dealerships.  She especially enjoys being able to research all things digital marketing. 

Outside the office she likes spending time with her daughter, Natalie, being outdoors, catching up with family and friends, hitting the gym early, singing in the car, music concerts, camping & exploring new places in New England.

Keely joined the Marketing team May of 2018. Keely loves assisting with graphic design, search engine marketing, web content creation, and everything in between. In her free time, Keely enjoys being a cat servant to her kitten, Theodore Roosevelt. She also enjoys working with local non-profits, taking coding and computer science courses, hanging with family and friends, cooking new recipes, staying active, and trying new brunch spots all around New England.
