The BRZ is designed to perform like a sports car should, with independent MacPherson struts in the front and independent double wishbone suspension in the back. And its Torsen® limited-slip differential provides improved grip, making it lively and dynamic through the corners.

FRONT-ENGINE, REAR-WHEEL DRIVE

For improved response, Subaru engineered the BRZ to send its power to the rear wheels. Combined with a compact, naturally symmetrical drivetrain design, you get a sports car with optimal balance and one of the lowest centers of gravity in its class.

DIRECT-INJECTED SUBARU BOXER®ENGINE

Performance comes in the naturally aspirated 2.0-liter horizontally opposed SUBARU BOXER® engine, combining balance with power and efficiency. Direct-injection technology provides 100 hp per liter without the need of turbocharging, 151 lb-ft of torque, and quick acceleration to its 7,400 RPM redline. The Dual Active Valve Control System adjusts valve timing to match the engine's RPM for optimal response.

THE IDEAL SPORTS CAR

This traditional sports car layout uses the signature longitudinal drivetrain of Subaru and adapts it to be rear-wheel drive for more lively handling dynamics.

The compact, naturally symmetrical drivetrain design, combined with an extremely low and rearward engine placement, means you get a sports car with optimal balance and one of the lowest centers of gravity in its class. It's also one of the lightest.

DIRECT-INJECTED SUBARU BOXER®ENGINE

Drawn from over 40 years of intelligent performance, the unique SUBARU BOXER® engine has pistons that move side to side, cancelling out each other's vibrations, so it can run smoother and more efficiently. This horizontal layout also offers better balance while delivering a maximum transfer of power.

Right out of the starting gate, you'll feel the performance of a 2.0-liter DOHC aluminum-alloy 16-valve SUBARU BOXER® engine. It's built with a Dual Active Valve Control System along with direct- and port-injection technology to help boost power and efficiency.

6-SPEED TRANSMISSION

The BRZ comes with a 6-speed fully synchronized close-ratio manual transmission for pinpoint command. BRZ Limited also offers an available 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.

PREMIUM AUDIO, SIRIUSXM™ AND AHA INFOTAINMENT

BRZ features an 8-speaker audio system with an in-dash CD player, MP3 playback capability and SiriusXM™ Satellite Radio[2], offering up to 170 channels of music, sports, news, weather, talk and comedy in high-quality digital sound. It also includes XM NavTraffic[2], HD Radio with iTunes® tagging capability, Aha Infotainment[3], USB port/iPod® control and a 3.5-mm auxiliary jack.

Vehicle Stability Control automatically senses steering and braking inputs to help keep the vehicle on the driver's intended path.

The Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) prevents wheel lock-up and helps maintain driver control. Electronic Brake-force Distribution (EBD) balances braking, while Brake Assist can sense a panic-stop situation and apply full braking force to help stop faster.

All the handling and performance of a BRZ with the look and feel of a WRX STI. This very limited edition comes in WR Blue Pearl or Crystal White Silica and with an STI Aero Package that will leave your neighbors even more jealous.

On the outside, 17-inch black-finish STI wheels with red-painted brake calipers. On the inside, blue-trimmed upholstery highlights, Leather/Alcantara® -trimmed seats with blue bolsters, accent stitching, and BRZ logo embroidery, a frameless rearview mirror, and a red STI engine start/stop button.
