Buckle up. The all-new 2011 Subaru WRX and WRX STI are bringing rally-inspired speed and street styleto loyal brand owners and buyers looking for a real adrenaline rush. To maintain market dominance, key modifications to both models have improved aesthetics, performance and will stoke enthusiast's passion.You'll see a shared wide-body design and for the first time, the WRX STI comes in 4-door and 5-door designs. MODEL LINE & KEY ATTRIBUTES
The 2011 WRX now features the wide-body WRX STI design, known for its rally-winning performance. Front and rear track is wider by about 1.5 inches and features stiffer rear subframe bushings. The WRX also receives larger wheels, wider tires, an improved audio system that integrates Bluetooth® phone and streaming audio connectivity and iPod® control capability. The WRX STI now comes in two body styles, 4-door and 5-door. And the wing is back. The 4-door design has the striking larger rear spoiler to create less drag for a higher top speed. You also get a lowered ride height, stiffer front and rear bushings and thicker front and rear stabilizer bars. So you can get more Gs and more Geez.
