Velvet here, coming to you from Homeroom 8 at the Monadnock Humane Society! I'm a girl who's always looking for the next adventure and I'm up for anything! Labs can take a long time to reach full maturity, and at one and a half years old, I still have plenty of puppy spirit in me. My previous family found me too much to manage with two other dogs of their own. I'll admit to having a high-spirited, exuberant personality, but that's just who I am. I'd be a perfect fit for a family with children who maintain an active lifestyle and are looking for an affectionate dog to share in the fun. Food holds my attention every time, and toys are a close second. My ideal job would be product tester for a canine supply company. Squeaky toys, tennis balls, stuffed animals, tug toys…you name it, I put them through their paces with great panache! If the dog days of summer are feeling a little empty without a canine friend by your side, visit the humane society. You'll be greeted by an eager chorus of barks, howls, and singing mutts when you walk in the front door, and I'll be ready to put a smile on your face! MHS is staggering under the strain of so many cats and we rely on community support to keep our doors open.
