Early CareerJamie began his rally career at the age of 10 at the New England Rally Cross events for the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA). Jamie's dad was the organizer for the event and allowed him to attend events. As his interest grew, his dad taught him to drive his rally truck and taught him rally driving basics, such as left foot braking and pendulum turns. However, Jamie could not compete in Rally racing until the age of 16. He pursued his passion by navigating for his dad at the SCCA Time Speed Distance Rally series. In 2008, after Jamie turned 16 and received his driver's license, he entered his first Rally Cross race and placed 3rd in Stock Front.

Why Subaru for Rally Racing?Jamie began his official rally career at the age of 16 with a 1991 Saab 900S, which he competed in TSD and Rally Cross. In Jamie's first season, he achieved multiple top three finishes with a yearlong finish of 4th place. However, after multiple races, the Saab eventually broke down. As Jamie's career progressed, he knew he needed a car that could handle the abuse of rally racing. In 2009, Jamie purchased a 1995 Subaru Impreza L with a 1.8L engine.Jamie was drawn to the Impreza because of its stock all-wheel drive (AWD), which gave him a competitive advantage. The Subaru Impreza had a smaller engine than his competition, who drove Subaru WRX and STIs models. However, the smooth handling of the Impreza and Jamie's superior driving allowed him to place in the top 3 spots in each RallyRace for 2010 the year. Jamie earned his first championship in the 2010 Stock AWD championship with his 1995 Subaru Impreza. Jamie is currently focusing on the 2011 TSD Rally Championship and Rally Cross Championship. He upgraded his 1.8L engine in the Impreza to a 2.2L engine and stripped extra weight from the vehicle. After placing special gravel tires during non-winter events, Jamie managed to place 1st, overall, after five events.
