View our inventory of 2012 Legacys. CRITICAL ACCLAIM: "Snowbelt drivers will appreciate its standard all-wheel drive, which few competitors offer. Subaru calls the 2012 Legacy a response to what its customers wanted - durability, value and performance, with a bit more cabin room. Those customers ought to be happy: The Legacy is all that, and it should continue to serve as a mildly unconventional alternative for buyers who equate Accord or Camry ownership with a voyage of the bland." Cars.com "Overall, the 2012 Legacy has an aggressive luxury look that sets it above the pack, while the company's AWD system offers something special. And considering the increasing popularity of AWD systems, this fifth generation Legacy is certain to far exceed the popularity of its predecessors." AutoGuide.com "No matter which mid-size sedan it's challenging, the Legacy now delivers the interior room, refinement, and fuel economy to contend with the segment's mainstream leaders. Of course, the Legacy's standard Subaru-ness -- all-wheel drive and boxer engines -- continue to give it that quirky edge. Who says going mainstream has to be boring?" Motor Trend "No longer just a quirky option with all-wheel drive, the redesigned Subaru Legacy now one of the most spacious cars in its class. It's a fun-to-drive sedan that makes a unique styling statement no Honda or Toyota can match." U.S. News and World Report |

MORE INTERIOR
SPACE "Oodles more head- and legroom, especially in
the backseat." -- Edmunds
"Passenger volume grows by 12 cubic feet to 102, with two-thirds of the new found space apportioned to the rear seats. Subie freed up a little more center-console space through the adoption of an electronic parking brake located in a small panel to the left of the steering wheel. The back seat boasts excellent thigh support and plenty of head- and legroom, even for folks in the six-foot-five range." -- Car and Driver INTERIOR
COMFORT "An amazingly roomy rear seating area and a trunk that'll
hold four golf bags, helped further by a more compact double wishbone
rear suspension that allows for a lower load floor." -- Road and
Track "All the small conveniences are represented as well, with
eight cupholders, cubbies in each door, several center console bins, and
map pockets, plus an overhead console on all models. We liked the
standard cloth upholstery, which was comfy without looking too delicate
or pet-hair-attracting. The trunk is absolutely huge, with a nice big
opening, and an easy pull from levers right up near the trunk rim causes
the seats to flip forward, creating a flat load surface." -- Car
Connection "The seats are comfortable, with great thigh support front and rear. This is a very good cruiser, and it swallowed mile after mile of highway with ease." Car and Driver |

WITH SUBARU, SAFETY
IS NOT AN OPTION
IIHS Top Safety
Pick Keeping the passenger area intact in the event of an impact is the highest of all safety priorities. Subaru builds each of its vehicles with a Ring-shaped Reinforcement Frame with nearly 40% constructed of high-tensile steel. This frame is designed and fortified to withstand tremendous force in order to maintain structural integrity during a collision and help shield occupants from the worst of the impact. What's more, its unique design diverts that dangerous impact energy away from occupants to further protect them in a collision. We want you to
feel surrounded by protection. To help keep you safe the instant an
accident is detected, an array of sensors can deploy any one or more of
the six advanced airbags to provide all-over protection for the driver, front
passenger and outboard rear passengers.
Over the last few years, we've collected
numerous Top Safety Pick awards
from the IIHS, and every Subaru vehicle, including the 2011 Subaru
Legacy, has received a 5-star rating for front, side, and
rear impacts from NHTSA5. When you're as committed to
protection as we are, it shows. Click Here for complete safety features list. | space | ![]() |

BETTER GRIP TO BETTER
PERFORM Look at the beauty of this linear design. Every Subaru is built for AWD from the ground up. Each one features a longitudinally mounted Boxer engine that feeds power to the all-wheel drive system in a straight line. This results in a balanced drive-train with almost total side-to-side symmetry that is free of extra components some other systems need to route power. Symmetrical all-wheel drive. It's what makes a Subaru, a Subaru.

Subaru Legacy 2.5i Limited 4dr Sedan AWD (2.5L 4cyl CVT) Customer
Review "I just picked up my new 2011 Legacy 2.5i Limited edition from the dealer today and I am absolutely thrilled will the whole package. I previously had a Volvo S80 and I enjoy the handling, comfort and quietness of the 2010 Legacy more than the S80 which cost me $15K more. The car looks fantastic, feels luxurious and handles and drives smoothly and precisely. This last winter was the worst we've had for a while for long periods of ice and snow so the AWD was the compelling feature, but I am blown away by the jump in interior space and smoothness of the CVT over the 2009 Legacy I test drove last year. Go Subaru. Favorite Features ... AWD, interior space and comfort." "There's a lot to like about Subaru's heavily updated midsize sedan. In addition to its larger cabin, distinctive powertrains and standard all-wheel drive, the 2010 Subaru Legacy features a modern interior that can be outfitted with a full range of electronic gadgetry for buyers so inclined. In the crowded midsize sedan segment, these traits should help set the Legacy apart." Edmunds.com
THE SUBARU WORLD IS
FLAT Notice how horizontal (flat) the Subaru Boxer engine is.The pistons move in 180-degree opposition to each other (like punching boxers) on a horizontal plane, so each naturally cancels out the vibration of the piston opposite it. An engine subjected to less vibration lasts longer. No wonder 94% of Subarus built in the last 10 years are still on the road today! This unique design gives you the advantage of a lower center of gravity, better visibility over the hood and greater performance and safety. It's what makes a Subaru, a Subaru. | space | LINEARTRONIC
CVT Automatic Mode Lineartronic CVT delivers 31 MPG on the highway. Leave it in the Automatic mode, and the gearless transmission infinitely adjusts to match your acceleration needs -- thereby eliminating the need to shift, which preserves the vehicle's momentum that can be lost when a conventional automatic transmission shifts gears. Also, Lineartronic CVT uses a step-less gear ratio, which allows your engine to run in its optimal power range for improved fuel economy and performance. 6-Speed Manual Mode For a more engaged driving experience, Lineartronic CVT comes standard with the 6-speed manual mode complete with paddle shifters mounted right at your fingertips. This system simulates the feeling of a 6-speed manual transmission by allowing you to manually select the gearing ratio that best fits your driving situation. It comes in handy for confidently merging onto the highway, passing other cars, or descending hills, as well as making the driving experience feel sharper and sportier. Also available in 6 speed manual
transmission. |
